British Swim School Opens New Location in Aurora

North America’s Premier ‘Learn to Swim’ Provider Continues Canadian Expansion

British Swim School, the North American leader of “learn to swim” franchise programs, is pleased to announce the opening of a new franchise location in Aurora at the Microtel Inn & Suites, 180 Goulding Avenue. Franchise owner Nitin Gambhir is excited to open his first location with the British Swim School family to spread awareness about the importance of swim safety and offer a safe and convenient location for Aurora and Stouffville residents to learn how to swim, especially with Canadians enjoying the warmer weather around bodies of waters including pools and lakes this summer.

British Swim School continues to expand its footprint in Canada, with swim lessons currently being offered in 20 locations in Ontario bringing the total to 21 with this new opening.

The new location is conveniently located at the Microtel Inn & Suites Aurora where the team is ready to teach life-saving swimming skills to children (and adults!) in a fun and safe environment taught by trained swimming instructors – something owner Nitin is passionate about.

Nitin is a native of Toronto who worked on Bay Street for the better part of 20 years before establishing his first franchise business six years ago. Nitin opened a Scholars Education franchise which he describes as a compassionate, caring service for children that caters to those with different learning profiles. "Reading is a life skill and investing in a business that teaches swimming as a life skill was a natural fit,” said Gambhir. After searching for adequate swimming lessons for his son during the pandemic, Nitin found British Swim School to be a positive and caring environment that taught children of all abilities and comfort levels – something that worked for his son, who was not comfortable with pools and water.
