Former Aquatics Director Nicole Pierce Takes Over as Owner of Greater Miami
British Swim School, the nation’s leading “learn to swim” franchise company, is excited to announce the acquisition of its Greater Miami swim school locations by Nicole Pierce, a seasoned aquatics director within the brand. Taking the reins from a trusted friend and mentor, Pierce is thrilled for the opportunity to elevate the program to new heights with expansion across the county.
Pierce brings a wealth of experience and passion to her new role. She started competitively swimming at just eight years old and hasn’t looked back, swimming in college and as an adult with U.S. Masters Swim Swimming. Swim safety has been central to her career, first as a lifeguard and then as a British Swim School long-serving aquatics instructor. Now, inspired by British Swim School’s Founder Rita Goldberg, she’s excited to take over her own location.
“Acquiring the Greater Miami location is more than a business decision; it’s a commitment to promoting swimming safety and sharing my passion for the water,” said Pierce. “There’s so much room for growth within this industry. There are currently seven pools in the territory, mainly in the western part of Miami-Dade County. Pierce is already planning to expand the British Swim School of Greater Miami into the eastern part of the county.
