British Swim School Announces Ranking in Top Low-Cost Franchises

Nation’s Premier ‘Learn to Swim’ Provider Is Honored to be Among the Nation’s Best Franchises

British Swim School, the nation’s leading “learn to swim” provider, is thrilled to announce its ranking as one of the Top Low-Cost franchises under $100k list. British Swim School was recognized at #63 in the rankings, widely considered an invaluable resource for potential franchisees looking for low-cost franchise opportunities.

“It’s an honor to continue to see British Swim School listed among the top franchises in any category,” said Ashley Gundlach, President of British Swim School. “Rankings like these affirm our brand to potential franchisees who are seeking out low-cost franchise opportunities.”

Taking advantage of pent-up demand, British Swim School has added 38 new units across 11 states to its franchise roster in 2021, nine of which are current franchise owner expansions into new territories. Even though 2020 included the temporary shutdown of all schools, 2021’s rebound was impressive — British Swim School had its strongest year ever with over $32 million in revenue, with most owners also enjoying their best year ever in revenue and profitability.

Franchises under $100,000 are typically considered low-cost franchise opportunities. And while in many cases (but certainly not all), higher-investment franchises may offer a higher earnings potential, there are many low-cost franchise brands whose franchisees are highly satisfied with their small business ownership. This initial investment includes the franchise fee, as well as several other costs required to get the new business up and running.

That said, British Swim School doesn’t go overboard with overhead. Franchise owners start with a relatively small amount of liquid capital to open their first locations, and by contracting with pools in fitness centers, schools, hotels, sports clubs and retirement communities (among others), the model brings well-appreciated revenue to these locations while limiting ongoing costs for our franchisees. The cost of water, pool repairs and daily maintenance, energy, and all the other costs associated with owning a commercial pool are covered by the host facility. It’s the perfect win/win situation!

“British Swim School has a proven franchising model that is easily scalable, with the added bonus of being a purpose-driven brand providing a critical life-skill to your community. Our low-cost positioning only adds to the appeal,” said Gundlach.
