North America’s Premier ‘Learn to Swim’ Franchise Heads Into 2023 With Impressive Momentum

British Swim School, North America’s leading “learn to swim” franchise company, is celebrating its strongest year ever, furthering the brand’s impact and setting the stage for continued success in 2023.

The company welcomed 37 new franchisees in 2022, adding almost 60 territories to their footprint across the US and Canada, including first locations in Utah, New Hampshire, British Columbia and Vancouver, Canada.

2022 was also a banner year for individual franchise owners, with the number of owners reaching the one-million-dollar revenue mark doubling since the prior year.

The expansion is further highlighted by the direct impact British Swim School is making in local communities. British Swim School instructors throughout North America taught almost 1.5 million swim lessons in 2022 — that’s over 27,000 lessons per week! Over 75 new locations were opened throughout the year as well, reaching many localities where quality swim instruction was previously lacking.

The focus on teaching lifesaving water skills to individuals of all ages and abilities will continue, with the launch of a new Young Adult program to accompany the build-out of their Adult and Special Abilities programs.
