British Swim School Expands Internationally with First Canada Locations

British Swim School, the pioneer of non-traditional infant water safety programs, has announced today that it will be diving into Canada with multiple locations.

With more than 130 pools operating throughout the United States and one in Turkey, the first Canada pools will be corporate-owned and opening in Mississauga, Ontario – the first located at the TownPlace Suites by Marriott situated at 5050 Orbitor Drive in Mississauga, and second at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites located at 2565 Argentia Road in the Meadowvale area of Mississauga.

Centered on a two-step principle of teaching water safety and survival first, and swimming skill development second, the franchise operates a year-round program with innovative teaching methods. Straying from the traditional “set courses” model, students are placed in classes based on skill level with specific objectives. Students are graduated from that level and advanced to the next without a waiting period, an approach not found in session driven programs.
